In 2021… my lovely wife Laura and I acquired five acres in Gardiner, WA to begin creating a self sufficient Homestead, Arts Studio and Gathering Place. The Land, located on Washington's majestic Olympic Peninsula, one mile from 101 and one mile from The Salish Sea, is a delightful mix of tall trees, sunny clearings, gardens, meadows, delicious soil and fresh air. We call the place The Green Way.

 

The 44 x 60ft Arts Studio houses my painting studio, and also serves as the home base for The Gilders of The Green Way, an evolving troupe of Artistic Musicians tasked with Keeping the Sacred Fire of Humanity Alive - while staying aware of one of life's primary pitfalls - Taking Ones Self Too Seriously. The Gilders are Mike Biskup, Isaac Jasinski and David Challman.

In the Summer of 2023, The Gilders hosted a a series of private Open Studio Arts events called The Green Way Sunshine Sunday Social Club. We are currently playing a lot of music, building a set list, and brainstorming how we will move forward in 2024. Please sign up for my newsletter for updates as the future becomes more present.
